Recruitment Types and Requirements

Xi'an Jiaotong University "Young Top-notch Talent Support Program"

Requirements:

a. Hold a doctoral degree, with an age not exceeding 40 years old. Exceptionally outstanding candidates may be up to 45 years old.

b. Have achieved outstanding academic accomplishments in the field and be recognized by peers in the same age group.

c. Possess a broad academic vision and innovative thinking, with the potential to become a leading figure in the field.

Xi'an Jiaotong University "Young Excellent Talent Support Program"

1.Categories:

The recruited personnel are divided into three categories: A, B, and C. Category A refers to doctoral graduates with excellent academic potential who have achieved outstanding performance in relevant fields, ranking among the top in their peers, aiming to become national "Four Young" talents or university "Young Top-notch Talents." Category B refers to doctoral graduates with strong academic potential who have achieved performance in relevant fields, aiming to become academic backbones. Category C refers to doctoral graduates with good research potential who have achieved results in engineering and technological development, patent achievements transformation, etc. Through joint training or named support with governments, enterprises, and institutions, they aim to become industry leaders in science and technology.

2.Requirements:

a. Patriotism, law-abiding, good conduct, and possess innovation ability, teamwork spirit, and enterprising consciousness.

b. Hold a doctoral degree, generally not exceeding 32 years old, and be physically and mentally healthy.

c. Have achieved significant achievements in relevant fields, demonstrated good academic development potential in publishing papers, leading (participating) in research projects, or conducting technology achievements transformation. The research direction should meet the requirements of "facing the world's scientific frontiers, facing the main battlefield of the economy, and facing the major national needs." The specific conditions for Category A are controlled by the university. Category B is formulated by the school (research institute) and approved by the university. Category C is formulated by the research team according to project requirements, reviewed by the school (research institute), and approved by the university.

3.Selection:

Category A: Those who are selected for the National "Postdoctoral Innovative Talents Support Program" and "Postdoctoral International Exchange Program Introduction Project" are directly selected for Category A. Those who have the same academic level as the selected candidates of the above projects can apply individually, be recommended by the college (research institute), and reviewed by the university.

Category B: Candidates who meet the admission criteria of their college (research institute) are required to apply individually, be recommended by the team, reviewed by the college (research institute), and approved by the university.

Category C: Candidates who meet the admission criteria of their team are required to apply individually, be recommended by the team, reviewed by the college (research institute), and approved by the university.

Related Benefits

(I) The following benefits will be provided to the selected candidates of the "Young Top-notch Talent Support Program":

1.Remuneration:

a. An annual salary of 300,000 to 450,000 RMB.

b. Appointed as a professor or researcher, with the provision of exclusive graduate enrollment quotas.

c. Provide 1-2 million RMB in funding for natural science disciplines and 500,000 RMB for humanities and social science disciplines. For those with special requirements, funding can be negotiated.

d. Enjoy a settling-in allowance of 350,000 RMB (after tax) and the option to rent or purchase housing provided by the university.

e. Provide the best local education conditions for children.

2.Professor:

a. Long-term employment.

b. The university provides a settling-in allowance of 70,000 to 120,000 RMB and research start-up funds of 120,000 to 300,000 RMB. Enjoy national salary, benefits, internal allowances, and policies for enrolling children in nurseries and primary and secondary schools.

c. Can live in transitional university housing or receive monthly rental subsidies.

3.Associate Professor:

a. Contract employment for a period of three years; excellent performance during the contract period will lead to long-term employment.

b. Annual salary of 230,000 to 280,000 RMB.

c. The university provides a one-time settling-in allowance of 60,000 RMB and research start-up funds of 60,000 to 150,000 RMB.

d. Can live in transitional university housing or receive monthly rental subsidies.

e. Enjoy the same treatment as university staff in terms of enrolling children in nurseries and primary and secondary schools.

4.Lecturer:

a.
